老爹鞋、洞洞鞋等成消费新潮流,当代年轻人为何喜欢“审丑”

中国商报(记者 贾欣然 文/图)在鞋类消费中,“审丑”趋势明显。老爹鞋、洞洞鞋、勃肯鞋……多种“丑鞋”当道,颇受年轻消费者的喜爱。现在的年轻人为何喜欢审丑?

“丑鞋”走俏市场

随着市场潮流的变化,皮鞋市场逐渐遇冷,呈现萎缩趋势。而老爹鞋、洞洞鞋这类脚感舒适的“丑鞋”渐成年轻人上班通勤的首选。

中国商报记者在淘宝上搜索“丑鞋”关键词时发现,有上千家店铺正在销售相关商品,有的鞋款月销量甚至达到3000多单。唯品会数据显示,今年7月以来,“丑萌”“个性”等关键词在平台上的搜索量大涨,而社交平台小红书上有关“丑鞋”的笔记也有2万多条。

95后消费者张佳表示,她喜欢穿“丑鞋”主要是看中了其功能性和舒适性,“疫情之后有一段时间我都在居家办公,那时候根本没有机会穿皮鞋,最常穿的就是洞洞鞋,下楼买菜做核酸踩上就走很方便。穿时间长了就越来越喜欢,我已先后购入三双还不准备收手。”

除了功能性和舒适性外,时尚个性化也是吸引消费者购买的关键因素。00后的靖祎是老爹鞋的忠实粉丝,她表示自己从来不喜欢大众化的审美,愿意追求个性,不喜欢跟别人雷同,“我就觉得老爹鞋很可爱,不光穿着舒服,还有增高的效果,有一种独特的风格。”

品牌靠“丑”得利

不少企业抓住“越丑越火”的潮流趋势,还真吃到了甜头。诞生于1774年的德国凉鞋品牌勃肯(Birkenstock)被称为“开启丑鞋风尚的鼻祖”。该鞋最初是为患有轻微脚疾的群体设计的,其鞋底较为特殊,由水松木料绞成碎粒再混合天然乳胶后压制而成。因为鞋底设计符合人体脚部工学原理,穿起来十分舒适,所以逐渐获得普通消费者的喜爱。

据了解,勃肯每年在全球售出近2400万双鞋款,销量和收入均稳步增长。2021年2月,公司以40亿欧元的估值被LVMH集团旗下私募基金L Catterton、LVMH集团董事长伯纳德·阿尔诺的家族投资公司Financière Agache收购。2022年6月中旬,迪奥与勃肯合作推出联名鞋款售价高达1100美元引发争议,品牌话题度和关注度持续提升。

卡骆驰(Crocs)是首创洞洞鞋的美国品牌,其最初推出的洞洞鞋造型因为样式太丑而一度被称为“时尚圈的灾难”。受新冠肺炎疫情等影响,供应链混乱和劳动力短缺给整个行业造成了一定打击,而卡骆驰通过一系列品牌重塑计划,成功克服困难,实现销量飙升。

卡骆驰集团公布的业绩报告显示,2022年第二季度集团的综合收入为9.646亿美元,与2021年相比增长50.5%。集团直接面向消费者的业务(包括零售和电子商务业务)增长了22.8%,批发业务增长了80.6%。其中,卡骆驰品牌季度收入为7.322亿美元,与2021年相比增长14.3%。集团预计2022年的综合销售额将达到33.95亿美元至35.05亿美元,比2021年增长47%。

掌握“流量密码”

近年来,随着复古风的升温,老爹鞋重回时尚舞台。不少人觉得老爹鞋外形老气、上脚笨拙,看上去有点丑。然而,斯凯奇却迅速抓住了这个“流量密码”,推出D’Lites系列鞋。

在线上,记者登录斯凯奇天猫官网旗舰店发现,D’Lites系列在鞋类产品中销量排名第一。而在线下,这款鞋也是当仁不让的主角。中国商报记者近日走访北京金源新燕莎MALL的斯凯奇门店发现,D’lites系列被放置在了店铺显眼的一面墙上。销售人员告诉记者,目前该系列已经升级到4.0版,相比之前推出的款式,4.0版在设计和配色方面更加时尚,受到年轻女性的喜爱。

为持续吸引年轻人,斯凯奇先后邀请杨紫等明星作为代言人。同时,斯凯奇还赞助了《偶像练习生》等综艺节目,并通过举办街舞大赛等形式进一步塑造该品牌年轻潮流的形象。除了深耕青年文化的营销定位之外,斯凯奇还在零售渠道上努力贴近年轻人。从2018年开始,斯凯奇就放慢门店开设速度,向扩张各种类型的概念店、旗舰店以及品牌专卖店转型。2022年,斯凯奇多个线上电商平台进行了视觉升级,同时多家超级大店、Kids儿童专属店以全新店铺形象亮相。

这个“流量密码”不只有斯凯奇掌握,近年来,国产女鞋也紧跟潮流涉足老爹鞋市场。在商场随便逛逛就会发现,无论是百丽、星期六,还是达芙妮、森达,几乎每家店面的货架上都会有老爹鞋这一款式,颇受消费者的喜爱。

当代消费者对于独特和小众有一定追求,而目前市场同质化现象严重,需要有创新产品的出现,所以“丑”就成了新的“流量密码”。鞋服行业独立分析师程伟雄表示,“丑鞋”走俏市场反映出Z世代新消费群体的差异化、个性化追求。这种特立独行的消费趋势虽不具有大众性,但至少是市场的一种需求。从“丑鞋”的热度可以看出原有鞋服产业相对一体化的穿着配搭需求已发生改变,未来企业可以考虑通过满足用户场景配搭需求等开发新品类。
